With the underlying theme of Learning through Play and beyond the classroom, PAL@BPPS is part of the school's programme to promote the development of social and emotional competencies among our Primary 1 & 2 students..  

The key objectives of PAL@BPPS is to nurture confidence, curiosity and cooperation skills in BPPS Primary 1 & 2 students. PAL@BPPS follows these guiding principles to ensure the programme remains relevant in its commitment to prepare the students to meet the challenges of the 21st century: 

  • Experiential in nature
  • Encompass learning in a creative way 
  • Provide opportunities for children to create
  • Incorporate values education and SEL
  • Provide enjoyment and fun

This programme is in line with the key desired outcomes of PERI recommendations, which are to balance the acquisition of knowledge with the development of socio-emotional competencies and immerse the students in the school’s values of Respect, Responsibility, Resilience, Compassion and Gratitude.

To prepare our students for the challenges and a dynamic future ahead, the PAL@BPPS modules provide students with broad exposure in the following areas:          

  • Sports & Games         
  • Outdoor Education        
  • Performing Art   
  • Visual Art    

During PAL@BPPS, students can experience a variety of learning opportunities where they can develop, among others, their Leadership, Cooperative and Communication skills, key life skills which are critical as part of the students’ holistic development.
