BPPS Alumni
In order to forge better school ties and community development between the school and former students, ten former students came forward to form the BPPS Alumni Association. The Association was officially recognised by the Registry of Societies on 28 May 1998.
Objectives of Alumni
Based on the constitution, the objectives of the alumni are:
● To forge school ties and community
involvement between Bukit Panjang Primary School and its former students
● To provide members with the
opportunities of helping to develop the school for the benefit of
their children
● To encourage volunteerism
among members
● For members, as a fraternity,
to offer, provide and contribute expertise and resources

Types of Membership
Ordinary Membership
Ordinary Membership is open to all persons who are graduates of the school,
provided always that persons currently attending secondary schools, centralised
institutes or junior colleges shall not be admitted as members of the Society.
All Ordinary Members above 18 years of age shall have the rights to vote
and hold office in the society.
Life Membership
Life Membership may be conferred on any Ordinary Member upon the payment
of a one-time subscription fee of $200. Life Members shall enjoy all the
rights and privileges of an Ordinary Member including the rights to vote
and hold office in the Society. Life Members shall not be required to pay
any annual subscription.
Honorary Membership
Honorary Membership may be conferred by the Society on such persons distinguished
by service to the school as the Committee may think fit, either for life
or for such period as the Committee may in any case consider appropriate.
Honorary Members shall have no rights to vote and hold office in the Society.
Associate Membership
Associate Membership may be conferred by the Society, upon application,
on school staff, parents of all former students (alumni) and on such persons
who in the opinion of the Committee are related to the school and/or would
contribute to the futherance of the objectives of the Society. Associate
Members shall have no rights to vote and hold office in the Society.
Patrons
The Committee may appoint, from time to time, distinguished persons in
public life to be Patrons of the Society. Patrons shall have no rights
to vote and hold office in the Society.
Advisors
The Committee may appoint, from time to time, desirable persons to serve
as Advisors to the society. Advisors shall have no rights to vote and hold
office in the Society.

Ex-students who wish to join the Society as a Life Member should contact the school at bpps@moe.edu.sg for the application form.
