“MOE introduced Edusave Character Award (ECHA) to enable schools to recognise students who demonstrate exemplary character and outstanding personal qualities through their behaviour and actions. The award also supports schools’ continuing efforts in nurturing students of good values and character, who are active contributors and concerned citizens.”
Nomination for ECHA@BPPS starts on 17th September 2014 and closes on 24 September 2014. Members of the school community who would like to nominate deserving pupils can download the attached form. Completed forms can be dropped at the school office personally or returned through our pupils.
Our school will be going single-session in 2015. Lesson hours will be from 7.30 am to 1.15 pm for Primary 1 to 6 pupils with effect from the first day of the new academic year 2015. Pupils are encouraged to start reporting to the school from 7.15 am and not earlier.
Recesses for the different levels will be:
P1 and P2 – 9.30 to 10 am
P3 and P4 – 9 to 9.30 am
P5 – 10 to 10.30 am
P6 – 10.30 to 11 am
Morning assembly points:
P1 to P3 – school hall
P4 to P6 – respective classrooms which is our usual school routine
Programmes such as enrichment, CCA, supplementary lessons will be conducted after 1.45 pm and, as usual, respective teachers in charge would notify affected pupils before the start of the programmes.
The current operators of the school bus service will be notified of the change. They will inform you of the changes in the pick-up and drop-off times in due course.
